So last week I was in Chicago for a conference and it was awesome! I was so tired when I got home I think I finally feel back to normal. I have done about 50 loads of laundry and switched my closet from Winter to Summer. One task that I hate doing.
Back to the update...which is really not an update but it did make me feel a little better. I was feeling anxious lately about waiting especially since Mother's Day is around the corner. And yes I am so thankful that I have a wonderful mom to spend the day with and a great stepmom, it still doesn't take away the pain of wanting to celebrate being a mom. Anyway, I called down to Baton Rouge to see what is going on with the Adoption. It has been 5 months and we haven't even been shown to any expectant mothers. So the social worker reassured me that there are just so few expectant moms. I feel good knowing that the agency is picky and that they want emoms who are serious and healthy mentally and physically. I wish I had more to update but that's all I got right now. I just know I will have good news soon.
