Sorry I have been slacking. It has been hard because I was very excited about the nursery but then I got busy and haven't been working on the room. As you can see the room is painted and I love the color. The crib is in the room but I think we have to move it to another wall. The dresser that I'm going to paint will need to go on the wall where the crib is currently. The dresser needs to be painted white and I have not started that project yet. The chest from Priscilla is painted but I want to put one more coat on it. The chest is green like the walls because we had so much of that paint left over. The chest is going to go in the closet for storage so I thought it could be green. The dresser project will start when I get back from Chicago. I leave on Saturday and I will be Wed.
I have been busy and will continue to be busy in order to pass the time. The blog is bitter sweet because we do not have any news to share. We have been waiting almost 5 months and haven't even been shown to a birth mother. So I have been bummed about that. I am fine most days and think about work and everything else going on in my life but sometimes I realize that another day has gone by with no call. So I am praying big, that I get a call before Mother's Day. That would be wonderful. But if we don't it will be ok. I am thinking about calling the agency in May and just checking on things, if we don't hear anything.
So that is my update, and I will try to be better about blogging when I get back from Chicago.
